This being the last day forecast to be rain-free for a while, I made use of the time to knock out some scheduled maintenance items on Alana's engine and dingy outboard. I also mounted the most excellent Storm Glass Jessica gave me on my recent birthday. For those that are unfamiliar with a Storm Glass, let me direct you to www.weatherinabottle.com/ where you will find a description. Basically, the formation of crystals in a glass cylinder forecast weather 24-48 hours out. The crystals supposedly form on the windward side of the cylinder, though I have yet to witness this myself.
